Synagogue in Rotem

In March 2023, the inauguration of the “Ohel Rivkah” synagogue took place in Rotem. The synagogue was named after Rivka (Riki) Ogul, one of the founders of “Rotem Yachad,” an ecological town located in the Jordan Valley that embraces both religious and secular residence. The Shivat Zion Fund fully sponsored the construction of this permanent structure at a cost of 3.5 million ILS, as the community had outgrown the temporary structure that was used for prayer services for over 20 years.
