Financial Assistance for Families
Since its establishment, the Shivat Zion Israeli Charity Trust has provided financial support to thousands of families across Israel facing economic hardship due to life’s unexpected challenges. We stand by families dealing with job loss, illness, or the passing of a primary provider, as well as single-parent households, families raising children with special needs, and those who experienced financial distress during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All assistance is granted following a thorough review process to ensure that funds reach those who need them most. We provide direct financial support and operates large-scale initiatives such as “טוב שכן קרוב “, which has been successfully conducted several times. Additionally, we collaborate with nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and local councils to expand our reach.

Emergency Relief During Wartime
Since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, we have provided direct financial aid to hundreds of families in southern Israel affected by the ongoing conflict, as well as to residents of northern communities who were forced to evacuate due to continuous rocket attacks from Lebanon.

Holiday Assistance
Every year, in preparation for major holidays, the foundation distributes hundreds of thousands of shekels to families in need. We work closely with organizations such as Efrat, Yad L’Achim, and Yad Al Halev, receiving updated lists of struggling families and ensuring direct financial transfers to their accounts.

Community-Based Support
Beyond public fundraising and matching campaigns, Shivat Zion also operates through trusted Community Ambassadors who refer urgent cases in need of immediate assistance.
