Public Building in Roeh Nevo (Beit Chugla) – Inaugurated in 2022 (תשפ״ב)
The public structure in the town of Roeh Nevo, known as “Beit Chugla,” serves the residents for various purposes. It hosts community gatherings, activities for children, kiddush celebrations, performances by local youth, Shabbat and holiday prayers (until the expansion of the synagogue, God willing), and joyous occasions such as bar mitzvahs and weddings.
The building spans 220 square meters and includes a central hall for activities, rooms used as a kitchen, furniture storage, and restrooms.
Roeh Nevo, established in תשע״ו, currently houses 33 families. The town is located north of the Dead Sea, along Highway 90, near the Mul Nevo base and the Beit Chugla farm.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the significant contribution of Shivat Zion to the establishment of this public structure. As the community grows, the critical need for a communal facility that can accommodate all residents becomes more pronounced. Since the building’s inception, it has been utilized for various community needs: Purim feasts, Shabbat and holiday prayers, community gatherings for bonding and enrichment, kiddush celebrations, and performances by the town’s youth, among other activities.”
