In 1986, the Ela”d association (“To the City of David”) was established with the aim of promoting the Jewish connection to the place and in particular the Jewish settlement within the City of David.
In 2014, about 100 Jewish families numbering about 500 people were living in Ir David.
The members of the Shivat Zion Network enjoy studying in groups, experiential activities and trips that are organized after constant studying.
