Shvei Shomron was founded by a group of religious families from Netanya, who moved to the land on Sukkot 1977. At the foot of the town is the Sebastia train station, which was an important focus for the first people to move to the land in Samaria. The town’s name is deriving from the symbolism of its establishment – the first in the area of the city of Samaria.
The members of the Shivat Zion Network enjoy studying in groups, experiential activities and trips that are organized after constant studying.
