Asahel is a Torah community in Mount Hebron, established in 2001 and belonging to the Mount Hebron Regional Council.
The town is named after Asahel ben Zeruiah, one of the heroes of King David who walked the hills of the area about 3000 years ago, during his wanderings before the days of the monarchy in Hebron.
About 100 families live in the Asahel.
The members of the Shivat Zion Network enjoy studying in groups, experiential activities and trips that are organized after constant studying.
