Prayer Books Donated to Soldiers in Gaza

A Gift of Faith and Strength: Yom Kippur Prayer Books Donated to Soldiers in Gaza
The Shivat Zion Israeli Charity Trust, in collaboration with the Michmas Battalion 8103, donated dozens of Yom Kippur prayer books to soldiers serving in Gaza.
A dedication from the battalion’s Rabbi and their Commander, as it appears on the inside cover of the “Machzorim”:
On the eve of Yom Kippur 5785 – the War of the Iron Swords.
“Through God we shall do valiantly, and He will trample our enemies.”
This prayer book will serve you in the war for the future of our country and the destruction of the enemy threatening to annihilate us. May it be His will that you go in peace, defeat the enemy, and return home to a good life and peace for many years. May you see children and grandchildren in wealth and honor.
“We shall surely ascend and inherit it, for we can surely overcome it.”
Am Yisrael Chai! Happy New Year, may you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.
Captain Rabbi Israel Lior, Battalion Rabbi and Lieutenant Colonel Elishama Jacobs, Battalion Commander 8103.
Donated in memory of the fallen of the Iron Swords and the Simchat Torah massacre, for the healing of the war wounded, and for the swift return of the hostages!
